[Rumination Pt.1]

I spit out lies that I swallowed down with truth. I counted each one I look around, I count yours, And yours, And yours, too. Mistakes. Promises. Deaths. I swallow each and every one, To dispose of at a later time. When i'm alone, No more lies and truths to swallow, Stuffed to the brim with shallow words, I spit them all out. Watch them dance and turn into a cacophony of screams. Welding themselves into the back of my already fractured mind. I said I wouldn't do it again, That was my own lie to swallow. Because the screams die down, Then start buzzing, anew with fresh gashes they've bitten. It would drive you mad too, Mad enough to go back to the whole damn thing.
